Tri Shutter Card - Happy Birthday

Hi. This is my first try at a Tri-Shutter Card. I find it a bit complicated but its so interesting because of the fact that it has so many panels to embellish. I have used really soft pastel colors for this card. The white flowers are handmade with lace. Rest of the stuff is pretty self-explanatory so I won't write much here. The sentiment is stamped on vellum.

Triple Circular Easel Card - Birthday

I was just sorting out my cards folder on my laptop and realised I had not posted some of my cards made previously. So, I am going to clear all the backlog and post them one by one in the days to come.
This card is similiar to the Triple Circular Easel Card I had made earlier. The difference is mainly the color theme.

The flowers are a mix of prima and locally bought flowers. The sentiments are all free digs.

For the bottom panel I have attached the top PP with a brad, so that it can be moved to write a secret message below.

Clean and Simple 292

Hi. Today I am playing along the Clean and Simple #292 sketch. Here is the card that I created. For the lower part I have used The Crafter's Workshop - 6 x 6 Doodling Template - Mini Kaleidoscope stencil. The upper portion is made using scrap paper strips that we chop off while making projects.

The flowers are punched from silver glitter paper and and I attached a peach colored paper as backing for the flower. I also punched out same flower in black and attached below the glittered flower to add depth and shadow.

Stencil Background Card 4

Hi, here is my 4th card in the series of cards with stenciled background. You may view all my cards made using stencils here.

For this card again I have used my favorite stencil from 'The Crafter's Workshop - 6 x 6 Doodling Template - Mini Echoes'. The background itself was so bright and pretty that I was finding it difficult to embellish the card. That is when I thought of using these flowers from a pattern paper pack. I fussy cut the flowers and adhered them with foam tape for dimension.

Tall Card with Handmade Flowers

Hi everyone!! Hope you all had a nice weekend and lovely Mother's Day celebrations. I was working on a couple of projects which are yet not complete. Here is a tall card that I made last week. All the blooms that you see here are handmade.

This is a picture of the tiny flowers that I had shared on Fb few days back. Although they require lot of patience, I love making these tiny blooms to use as fillers for my projects. The orange vine that you see on the card above is made using the orange flowers in the pic below.

Here is a collage of few close-ups of the card. Click to enlarge..

All Star - Masculine Card

Hi. Today I have another masculine card to share. I wanted to try this tiled look and so decided to use pattern papers for the same. All the pattern papers are from single paper pad listed below.

The paper is so pretty and has so many elements that I really didn't need to add many embellishments to it. I made a star from scrap cardboard piece. The compass is stamped and distressed. I used a chain from my stash and attached it to the compass. The sentiment is from Just Rite All Boy stamp set.

I've used the left over paper scraps for the inside of the card.

The pattern paper used here is from Prima - Engraver paper pad which I had won at a challenge at BGC.

3D Card with handmade flowers

Hello!! Here's a 3D card that I completed recently, but I had designed the template for it long back and was looking for an apt design for it. The flowers, leaves and the branch that you see here are all handmade. I will try to share the template for this card, but I am not sure how to make the template in printable format.

The picture quality is not too good, so please excuse that.

Stencil Background Card 3

Hi all. This is the third card in my series of stencil background cards. You may view all my cards made using stencils here. The stencil used here is 'The Crafter's Workshop - 6 x 6 Doodling Template - Mini Echoes'. I have used the same set of distress inks as on this card, but the look is a lot different the card below. The difference is because of the paper used for stenciling. Here I have used watercolor paper and on the other card I had used non-porous glossy paper. I love the bold and vibrant look on this card.

Since the background is so bright, I wanted to keep the embellishments/other elements subtle. I chose silver glitter paper to make this lovely lily bunch.

You make me smile

Hi all.... today I am sharing a 6x6" card which is very special to me. It is special coz after a long time I made a fully loaded card with so many embellishments, layering and also all the flowers that you see here are totally handmade by me, except the tiny pink mulberry flowers. The big leaves are also handcut and distressed using shabby shutters distress inks.

The big flowers are inspired by Gabrielle Pollacco's tutorial. Although mine look a bit different because while actually making the flowers I didn't have the video in front of me. I made a rose for the center of the flower.

The other yellow flowers are handmade too. I like to make my own flowers in my spare time so that I have them ready in stock when I sit down to create a project. The mdf window was purchased from Anita Kejriwal. I have used small doilies to make the window curtains. The metal button and chain are from my stash.

This is how it looks from inside.

Here is a close look from various angles....

For the curious souls, these gorgeous papers are from Prima Introspection Paper Pad which I had won at a challenge at Lulupu.

Stencil Background Card 2

This is the next card in the series of stencilled cards that I created recently. The stencil used here is 'The Crafter's Workshop - 6 x 6 Doodling Template - Mini Echoes'. I have done the stenciling with Ripe Permission, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspbery distress inks on a glossy white paper. Using a glossy paper mellows down the color of distress inks, so if you need a softer look, it is ideal for that. The bloom and big leaves are handmade. The sentiment is stamped in vellum.
